As part of the IA-CEPA Katalis program, AEGIC, supported by Senior Miller, Mathew Rees, successfully developed and delivered an online learning program to upskill Indonesian flour milling workers.
Launched in March 2024, the program is building the capability of Indonesian flour mills, optimising the value of Australian wheat, and strengthening relationships and supply chain resilience.
The eLearning platform has attracted over 200 registrations from staff representing Indonesia’s largest milling companies. Over 100 have already completed the program. A final report on this project has been submitted.
With investment from Grains Australia, AEGIC is working on another project to adapti this platform to the Chinese market, which has been Australia’s largest wheat market for the past three years.
“The course was very useful for me to have more knowledge and comprehensive understanding about milling process that has been my career for more than 23 years.
“Of course YES, (I would recommend this course to colleagues), with hope that they can have the same knowledge and understanding about milling process.”
– Feedback from Indonesian flour millers
AEGIC builds strong relationships with industry stakeholders, who recognise the value we deliver, seek our expertise and invest in our projects. We collaborate with a range of industry partners to increase value across the Australian grains supply chain.
